Very nice lookin....how does that cover fit on and what model bbq is it from...I been looking for one for me second UDS

The lid is from a Weber clone that Wal Mart sells. It sits on the edge of the drum rim. It's on the blog, pictures of both answers. Hope this helps.

that's what that long stick dial thermo said that I had poked thru a hole in the lid. It was a hot day and I had a good sized fan blowing on the patio which helped I'm sure. I didn't let it stay that hot very long. I wanted to cook the high temp paint ON, not back OFF.

That is a very unique rendition of a UDS! Love it!!!! I am gonna have to try and top yours now! I think I will build one on a rickshaw and ride around town sellin Q lol Just Jok3n! Really great work!

very nice. creative workman ship. i have been looking into building one of these. now im pumped. a winter project for sure.

points for the craftsmanship.
 
after taking the time to read through your blog. i like the ari flow idea. seems that would be way less expensive that a brass ball valve. im burning out my barrel now. and will be reading over many uds pages to get the idea for what i want.
