I'm new to the forum, thought I'd post up some pics of my smokehouse I built last fall. I had to move my firebox and reroute the pipe but she works great now.

That looks really nice. Can you cold smoke in it? I'd love to have a full fledged smoke house. Thanx for sharing!
 
during the winter months you could. it really doesn't hold the heat well, which actually works out good for making sausage because it stays right in the 125-175 range depending on the fire. If i get it real hot it will get to 195 at the roof. but on a winter day, I could keep it in a low range for cold smoking by just using a small fire. I really don't have alot of experience with cold smoking though

thanks guys. It came out really good and didn't cost as much as I expected. I think I have between 400-500 tied up in it. The initial buy of lumber and nails and stuff wasn't that bad. but right at the end, the plywood, tin, hinges, pipe, temp gauge and vents pretty much equaled the cost of the lumber. I thought I was going to come out real cheap on the deal and within the last 3 days of building the price kind of doubled. but I expected it to cost around $1000, so $400-500 wasnt too bad

I have a wood stove and am trying to make a smoker like yours. I am actually going to use the stove for making maple syrup and thought I'd add a smokehouse.  You mentioned that you had to relocate the piping can you please explain or post some pictures?

I am looking to build a wood smokehouse because I have outgrown my small  metal smoker. I came across a picture of your smokehouse and it exactly what I am looking to build. Perfect size and it looks great. I was wondering if you had gotten plans for this or just designed it yourself?

I know I'm late to the party but did you create a build thread on SMF that I can look at to see how you built this? 

Is this only for hanging meat or did you set it up to have removable trays?
