I smoked a 5lb butt and then a chicken. I used hickory for the butt and hickory and apple for the chicken. I cooked both at around 240 and it took about 10 hrs. It was a great Saturday! Here is the qview.
 
Doesn't look like a first timer to me. That looks great. You are well on your way to being addicted to this hobby. Just watch out, we are enablers out here.

Looks like my Char Griller on it's first day. Hah! Anyway, good job & you keep having fun & bringing that qview.

P.S. Whatever you smoke, post in that forum. Beef, Pork, Poultry, Fish, etc. You may be new but you ain't no newbie anymore since you have a smoke under your belt.

This has become so addictive. I fell asleep last night thinking of different ways to improve my smoking. The first step may be admitting I have a problem.
