My newest Char-griller Smokin' Pro sucks

I have purchased 4 Char-griller "Smokin Pros" over the years. Loved 'em! That's why I bought 4. But this last one is AWFUL! The doors don't seat properly so way too much air gets in the fire box, making it almost impossible to maintain smoke and not fire. I'm having to seal things up with metal tape. The actual grilling surface, (the grates) aren't like the old ones and almost don't fit. And the paint is flaking off worse than ever. You've lost me Char-griller.

The sad part is most of the name brand grills and smokers are not the same that they used to be. Even Weber has reduced the number of bars in the kettle grates to make them cheaper but now they aren't as strong.

I have noticed the same thing. I have had a pro for about 10 years, I replaced the side firebox about a year and a half ago. The new box looks worse than the old one already.

This Masterbuilt offset I'm running is a bit drafty but at least it's assembled well. I used to have a New Braunfels with big gaps and visibly crooked welds.
