RC Sailboats.

Yup thats right. The snowbird sailboat guys got me hooked over the winter.

This is my Dragon Force 65 all together and in the pool for its first sail. Why the pool? Well if something fails in the pool i can just go get it, in the lake i have to deal with the water critters...yikes.

All was good until the wind stopped.

They have a sailboat club here where I live. All the guys build their own in our wood shop.

Very serious stuff!

Yeah there is a snowbird guy here that does his own building for them guys, to $$ for me. This was a kit with everything for $175. Just do the sail rigging and in the water.

The America's Cup, pool version, is the next logical step with 2 sailboats...
