My first whole chicken

    I brined it over night with Kosher salt, brown sugar, and my rub in the brine.  Patted it dry, rubbed it with oil, then the rub.


    After smoking here was the final product, oh yeah I sauced it with about an hour to go.


    I will have chicken no other way for a while now.

    That be one good looking bird.  Now if we could just get you to post what has been known as bear view, I'd be drooling for sure!

    My problem is I go right from picture to MMmmm that was good and foget the bear view.  But I will next time which is in about 30 mminutes, got some legs on for the in-laws.

         Yeah it's a awsome lookin g Bird,but I would have trussed the legs and wings for a propre look.....[​IMG]  [​IMG]
