As I said, yesterday I was doing my first smoke, a couple of baby backs, but I did not know my wife had our camera, but she got home as they were finished so here they are

Everyone loved them, my one sons face was covered, and my wife finished everything on her plate, something I've never seen before.

This you have done great for your first time,Now you will never be able to stop

My son came home from school, and asked if there were any leftover ribs left, I told him to look in the fridge in the garage, I could hear him emptying the fridge, when I told him I just remembered that I ate them, the look on his face was priceless, sometimes you have to torture your teenagers, they deserve it.

Great looking ribs!!!!! I am doing my first set this weekend!! Share how you smoked them, foiled, rub etc...

Also- I laughed out loud at work when I read your post about teasing your son. My 4 yr old would have done the same thing. Poor kid is always hungry...

Thanks for the replies, as far as how I smoked them, I used the 2,2,1 method.

As far as them wanted me to smoke more food, how true, my wife and I were at the store and they had a sale, if you bought a spiral ham, you got a turkey breast for free, and when we got home 2 of the boys charmed in with " are you gonna put those on the smoker ?", and my wife said, "yeah, cook them on the smoker", I don't know if she said that, because she likes the taste, or if she just wants me to do more of the cooking? Either way, I win.
