Rub been on for about 10 hr. As soon as I find the mix for the rub I'll post it, It was some we had gotten from a friend.
All ready to lay on the UDS.

Temp up to 225*

Loaded up at 7:30 PM Saturday.

Sunday morning 5:00 AM

Sunday 11:30 AM

First butt a 7# off at 11:30 AM Sunday with an internal temp 170*

First one pulled.

9# butt at 12:30 PM Sunday.

The second butt pulled.

Some of the pulled pork with some homemade bbq sauce.

For the first go around I was proud of the way it turned out.
Thanks for looking.

too.

They look gorgeous!

Maybe next time consider foiling them at 170*, taking them to 205*, toweling and putting them in a cooler for 2 hours, then pulling them and hitting them with some finishing sauce.

Just throwing some ideas at you that I've learned from here!

Now thats some good looking pulled pork you have there Etcher. I do like the towel and the cooler routine for my butts.
