I want to thank all those for your posts that showed me how to get started. I knew I had to try a fattie the first time I saw it. Great!

Jimmy Dean sausage ready to fill.

Sliced green onion, green pepper, fresh mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and some pizza sauce.

Rolled and wrapped with bacon weave.

Hickory smoked at 250 after a couple of hours with internal temp of 170

Wow, This tastes great!
I could make some small pizza dough, muffin size, and top with more cheese and bake till cheese melts.

Congrats on your first fatty! You'll likely be hooked on them. I don't know if I'm good enough to give points, but if I can, you've got 'em.

Good job outta you

Great job on your first fattie, glad everything worked out. Got me itching when I see that stuffed chub of love with that pink ring.

imdanimal, hope we can see some pics when it's done.

Jim, congrats on your first fattie success. It looks awesome; I can almost smell it. I did my first fattie today too although mine nearly fell apart hehehe.

Thanks for the fine QVIEW,

Tom

Love the symetry on the pre-rolled fattie...that thing is a work of art! Every ingredient is mirrored on the opposite side, therefore I dub this the palindrome fattie!
Very Nice, indeed!
