My first Cherry wood Smoked Burgers - Q-view

Discussion in 'Beef' started by custom99, Nov 19, 2011.

  1. After seeing raptor700's post about his burgers, I had to run out and get some ground meat and try some. I started out with 2 pounds of ground sirloin.

I mixed in some minced onion, garlic powder, jack daniels oak smoked salt, pepper, and worchestershire sauce.

Made 6 patties. Into the smoker at 250 with some cherry wood.

    After 40 minutes.

They came out fantastic. They were super juicey. The family now only wants wings and burgers if they are done in the smoker. It took exactly 1 hour to reach 155 IT.

Plated up with some tater tots and my daughters home made pickles.
