Hello everybody

So here is the start of my first ever build. I've been looking over a lot of build posts on the site, but still cant decide what style will work best for me. I've been smoking for a couple years now with a store bought offset smoker and have had pretty good luck with it,but its the only smoker i have used.  I was originally thinking of making this a direct flow.  Now after a little research not sure if that's for the best. Even heat and good temp control are my biggest concerns . So any thoughts or advice are greatly appreciated. Is the direct flow a good choice for this or is  RF a better option or even making an offset like im used to using?  Thanks in advance.

So been to busy to start building yet, but have been getting all the materials and parts together i have everything i need when i start. Decided a RF is going to work the best for me (thanks David) and used Feldons calculator to figuer out the specks. Everything looked good except for the chimney pipe. I was going to use 3" pipe, but the calculator says with 3" i need 1215ci, and 13 feet of pipe. Does that sound right, and if so does it matter how i use the pipe? Am i better off using larger pipe, say 6" or making 3 stacks with the smaller pipe?
