Well I finally have all the material to make my build.  24"x40"x3/8" pipe, 4"sch 40 for stack and legs. Plan to post pics as I am able to work on it.  Can't wait to complete...

I have to thank a good friend for supplying all the material.  May owe him some ribs once complete...

I am sure I will have questions along the way, so stay tuned and be prepared for questions...

Here's to good smokin'!,

Here is some updated pics.  Finally have cooking chamber caps welded and box welded up.  Next step is for placement of firebox.  Any suggestions on how big the opening should be between firebox and cooking chamber?  Cooking chamber is 36" long and 24" dia.  Firebox is 18"x18"x18"...

SWEET,looking good man, search for the pit calculator.it will tell you the dimensions you need.

Awesome start to your build, LOL, looks like you have an inside advantage. That steel looks like its cut awesomely clean, like maybe a sheer. And it looks like a pretty decent shop to work in.

Nice looking hinges. Just courious, are you going to flange the door on the inside for a clean look.
