Yeah this is a big project to take on for someone who:

    1. Had never built a RF Smoker.

    2. Has extremely Limited welding skills.

    3. Pulling everyhting from a pile of junk material ( actually I think that part is kinda cool myself)

I appologize that some of these pictures are dark and or Blurry, I was taking pics with my phone. Please Feel Free to Critique it, I can always learn from constructive critisism.

This is the Tank, my starting point.

I got the door cut and burned the tank out real good.

    Mounted on the trailer.

Built the firebox from an old hot water heater.

    Cooking grate frames.

Cooking for a friends welcome home from Iraq Party.

From Left to right, Deer (hams and shoulders) Chicken, Bologna, and 4 Pork Shoulders (foiled)

Negative Tongue weight was a problem So I added some length. Decided that I would add

a Vertical Propane Smoker for a quick warming box.

This is It pretty Much complete, Of course I will find something else to change soon I am sure.

    Looks Cool!

    Are those grate frames galvanized?

The are, But the galvanized coating was first ground off and then burned to about 600 degrees, From all that I have read it is safe to use if the galvanized coatings are removed.
