This is my first brisket done on the chepo brinkman came out ok looking foward to our next smoke, I am a newby here and looking forward to talking to my new friends.

Also for those of you new to smoking,  Get a good Probe Thermometer as we smoke by Temperature NOT TIME.



A good choice for a remote dual probe thermometer is the Maverick ET-732
 
 hello from NCsmoker. Thanks for all the replies this seems like a great site.Im aflooring installer from willow spring nc. you guys know my brother-in-law Quint whos a fellow smoker.Hes been the inspiration in this new hobby for me!  Ive got  2 sons and a great wife that thought my first brisket was pretty darn good. Looking forward to meeting u guys and learning alot more on smoking!
