Well after 4 1/2 weeks on the road I finally got to spend a coulpe of days at home and to open my exchange with Yount. He sent me some great stuff and I am really looking forward to dusting off my smoker and testing some of these out - The sausage mix will be used once I get my new stuffer and I am going to taste the rubs to see if one will work on a corned beef I have soaking for pastrami right now

The beer is already in the fridge
Thanks Rich - this is a great haul and I am especially excited to try the sawdust on some bacon - just ordered 15# of bellies to smoke

Now for the beers

Nice exchange, noticed the SZEGED steak rub, never tried that but their paprika is wonderful and imported form Hungary.
Now the Yuengling beer, mighty tasty beer not to mention it is America's oldest brewery.
Now I'm in the mood for one...

Now I have done a couple of exchanges and you have to love them and it's like christmas for adults here. I dolike your end of it too. The Peter Luger's sauce is for what??? I have been there and I didn't need anything on that steak except some salt an pepper and a good fork. Now I would also like sme of that steak seasonings I have never seen it either.

When I lived in California for a while they didn't have it out there, missed that, well that and WaWa probably the most, and of course Jersey tomatoes...

Drinking the Yuengling right now and remembering my trips to our HQ in Alexandria VA - This was the only beer they had at the local Marriott the first nite I was there and I consumed several before the evening was over.
Thanks again Rich!

Great Exchange... especially the beer...
