SO! Whose smokin' for the mamas and what will you be doing? How many are you cooking for? Our parents are both deceased, but our new son-in-law has his parents and 2 sets of grandparents. I'm not certain that I'm up to cooking for 10 - 15 people yet, but 'faint heart ne'er won fair maiden' either. I figger I could do some pork ribs and a butt and maybe a brisket seein' as how its 2 weeks and bit away. Most of these folks are Texans and will judge my brisket hardest, I think. That's why I'm thinking of throwing in some ribs and pulled pork. All to be done on an MES40. Is this too ambitious for a newbie who will be doing all these meats for only the second time? What sides would you consider for this? Kids are in late 20's. His parents in there late 40's. His grandparents are out age (70) or older by a few years - but not many. Beans, mac and cheese and slaw? Sliced onions, dill pickles and slice white bread and at least 3 different sauces. What are YOU gonna do?
