That is very cool Justin!  Looks like the boy is a natural!  Mrs. Red and I have been empty nesters for a long time, but I still remember fondly some similar times I had with our 2 sons.  I kinda miss those days.  There's nothing in this world any better than a papa spending quality time with his boy.

I hear ya, did the same with my Dad ! Those memories are somethin ya always treasure and just try to pass it along to my kids as they love to help with everything to do with the smoker ! Justin

My son  is 9 and rather the chef himself.....I think it's time for him to start doing more of the smoking then just checking the smoker.....  Looks great!  Congrats to the chef, and his helper

same here...only regret is the few times i told him i didnt want to....now that iam older and dont see him but 1 or 2 times a week at the most i realize thats lost time
