Hello!
My name is Ben and I'm in the Navy, stationed at Fort Gordon over near Augusta, GA. I planning on picking up a smoker this weekend or coming week and I look forward churning out some awesome food. Probably gonna start out with a chicken, some ribs, and a butt. I have a passion for Cajun cooking so I'll probably try to blend that into my smokes. Originally I'm from Florida and we have some pretty good BBQ down there but since I've come up here to GA I constantly go across the border to SC for their BBQ, it's pretty awesome with lots of mustard and vinegar flavors so I'll definitely try and work with that too. Thanks for letting me join y'alls community, I'm about to start diving into the forums so I can learn as much as i can before I start my first smoke.
