With all the chuckies being cooked as of late it sure put me in the mood for one too. I put one in with some pork shoulders (in the pork section) that I did today. The local mart had em on sale for $2.29 per lb. I got me a nice 5+ pounder for a tad over 13 bucks. Did just a basic brisket rub. It's the one on the bottom left front.



About half way done.



I took it to 165 and foiled til it went to 205.



Took it off the Horizon at 205 and to the cooler for 2 hours. Boy oh boy it was tender. Got it all panned up. We're having it for dinner on Tuesday.



No red meat before the Cardiologists appointment .

It most be a chuckie weekend because I did one too. Your gets lose but I could fine it amongs all that pork but they all look good and the pulled chuck came out just great all moist and stuff. Oh no not that guy tomorrow wish you luck.
