DS no ice bath, put them in my super chiller, AKA, the propane fridge in my camper. It's way cooler than an ice bath!
 
I was thinking of doing the same with mine today just into the chest freezer for about 20min or so then to the reg designated smoker fridge

Yeah I didn't want to water bath these with the cloth. It would be fine, but the muslin would soak up and get wet.

Going to have to wait until tomorrow! Had some unexpected work issues today! Didn't feel like getting the vac packer out...
 
As promised here's the finished Q-view!

One of the casings peeled off really easy. The other had a larger bulge part way down, so the smaller upper portion wouldn't slide past. So I ripped that one down the seam. I blame that on my crappy sewing skills! Last time I sewed anything was 6th grade home-ec class, and that was a whale pillow!!! I'm













Tried to use tapatalk to upload, but for some reason it no longer works. Bummer. It's way easier on my iPhone than this editor!!!

Both my wife and my mother sew. They both told me I was on my own! HA! My wife was kind enough to go with me to the fabric store so I could use her coupons. Which probably cost me even more as she bought bolts of fabric and yarn and head and things in not even sure what they were. My muslin cost less than $3!
