mother's Day Fattie...first time...

  1. So for Mothers day i rolled and smoked a breakfast fattie...........

    I found that I need more sausage. I was a bit thin and it was breaking through...

    I learned a few things.......

    more sausage, use some sort of spray so that the wax paper wont stick to the sausage, maybe flip it in the smoking time to get the whole thing crispy..... but it sure tasted great!!!

    It looks good Burgi. If you use 1 lb. of sausage & roll it out in a 1 gallon zip lock bag you will get a uniform thickness. Also if you use the thinnest bacon you can find the bacon will get crispy. There are tutorials on here on rolling a fattie. Even though this was your first one, I think you did a GREAT JOB, the sliced pic looks as good as any I've seen. Congrats!
