Just finishing my first brisket in Sapulpa ( a 7 pounder by the way). Put it on my $10 garage sale Brinkman smoker at 8:30 last nite and my Taylor Classic is setting on 170 at 5:39 this morning. so I'm thinkin, LET'S EAT!!  Wish me luck!

If your gonna eat that brisket at 170, your gonna be doing a lot of chewing.

Most of us take them to 200+.
