Hi all, I remember Dirtsailor having a major problem with his stuffer from LEM. Toady I was making some VSS and had run out of 1/2 " hog rings from the sausage maker but not to worry(I thought ) as I had grabbed some LEM rings off of Amazon awhile back. Boy are they junk! I had to use a pair of cutters to trim them down so they wouldn't slide off the end of the fibrous casings, They were labeled 1/2" but seemed to be 3/4". They will now hold the meat inside the casing but I'm afraid the sharp edges from cutting them will poke holes in my vac seal bags. I had the meat in the stuffer when I started to use these POS and really didn't have time to file each ring. Buyer beware of LEM products as I will never buy their crap again !
