Monkey's Chilli Balls

Saw these on a well know auction site and it got me thinking!
Used to make round Ice Cubes.

Made a Chilli out of Ground Beef, Chilli Powder, Chilli Slices, Paprika Powder, Garlic Granules, S&P, Chopped Onion and Chopped Tinned Tomatoes.

Filled the moulds with the Chilli mixture and froze.

Made the outer coat of Ground Beef, S&P, Chilli Powder & Garlic Powder.

Components ready to assembly, Chilli Balls, Franks Hot Sauce, Cheese, Seasoned Ground Beef & Bacon.

Dipped Chilli Balls in Franks, covered in Cheese, moulded Ground Beef around ball then wrapped in Bacon.

Chilli morning to day in NOTTINGHAM UK,

Smoked @ 150'C (302F) 1 hour for the small Balls and 1 hour 15 minutes for the large Balls. Cooked using Texas Blend pellets.

That is a way cool idea.  We had a chili cook off at work last week, and I wish I had seen these sooner.  I'm looking at silicone ice ball molds on Amazon now!!!!

Thanks for sharing!

These are plastic, but silicon would be good. One tip, cool the chilli slightly, but do not let it get cold as it is harder to get it evenly in the moulds!
