living in New Mexico for the moment. have been playing with smoke and fire for about fifteen years now. found this place through a link somewhere else and thought it looked nice.
i cook on a offset homemade job and so far it has worked well for me. i think i will be needing to upgrade in a year or so. of course most likely i will remain with a offset(crazy that way). the current smoker is actually a trailer and not much else.
i am currently competing in mostly Kcbs events and i also cater. largest catering gig was for around 300. definitely need a larger smoker to bigger than that.hahaha
on a personal note i am married to a wonderful lady who is nearing the end of her career with uncle sam(air force). we have a wonderful son who is now seventeen( where did the time go?). i personally served in the Army and have spent several years following her around the country.
as far as being a "pittmaster" i consider myself a pittlearner. because i am always looking for new things to learn and better ways to do things. of course we all know that it doesn't always work that way. hahaha

oh and for the name.... N2dabluebbq = dual meanings. one is for the smoke, it should always be blue. 2nd is for the air force. with the whole into the wild blue yonder thing.
though of doing an army name but had trouble with into the foxhole with camo on thing.(try to fit that into a name) hahahha
well i guess thats enough boring info for now.
