Hi all, I smoke quite a lot of Himalayan salt, garlic, pepper and nuts...all separately.

I had a ply cold smoker until yesterday morning. I was smoking pepper and I'm thinking the wind came up a little too much and my smoking barrel got too hot, starting a small flame. Not too sure how but it increased and burnt the inside of my smoker to charcoal. It is now a right off so I went out and purchased a second hand steel tool box. The box is approx 3ft x 21/2ft and is 1 ft deep. My worry is that is is painted red inside so I guess I'll need to get rid of that.  My other concern (after reading comments on this site) is the condensation problem. I'm thinking ply on the ceiling will eliminate this problem...any thoughts anyone?   Cheers Oscar
