I have had my MES since November, done several (not enough) smokes but the smoke flavor is just not as good as what I got in my old ECB. I have to give credit where credit is due, the Masterbuilt Tech here has been great, they have sent me a new controller (wouldn't function under 32f) & a new smoker box. Now I have the larger tray & can put larger chunks in the beginning of the smoke. Done a few turkeys (smoke/fry), shoulders & ribs. Any suggestions? I may have to go back to the ECB during the warm months & the MES when it is cold if I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance to all the fine contributors here.
