I have done quite a bit of research in making my Mailbox Mod.  The mod works just fine with my AMZNPS and the MES 40 on cold smokes.  However, the other day I tried some ribs and the MES 40 wouldn't get past 200.  Using the AMZNPS inside the MES40 is a little hit and miss even with the suggestions of microwaving, pulling the chip tray and loader out a couple of inches.  I can usually get it to at least 240 if needed.  Am I missing something?  outside temp is around 70.  The mailbox creates smoke just fine but temps around the 190's is just a little too low and slow.  Suggestions?

Almost sounds like too much airflow. Some pictures of your setup would probably help.
