I just got a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker 2007/08 model with vent and all. before this I had been using a Brinkman Gourmet Electric for about a year with medium success mainly due to the high heat and lack of temp control, this smoker followed a Brinkman charcoal smoker that just didn't work out because I couldn't keep the heat up and smoke rolling (probably because I was just starting and didn't have patients. So, as I mentioned in the Title, I live in Florida, close to Tampa so it is usually always warm to hot here. I have been reading and taking tips sine I got my Brinkman GES and am very thankful for everyones help and suggestions. FYI, I made thos famous Dutch's wicked baked beans for a family event today, and everyone raved about how good they were, I did add some sweet BBQ sauce but just wanted to pipe in and say they are great.
