Yes, I'm nuts.

Made a meatloaf this morning, good day for it. Kids asked if I was going to smoke it. That's all it took, they dug her out for me and she's chugging away. Threw in some almonds and eggs too.

Using white oak (I think). Planning on keeping her around 250, we'll see how that goes.

You are nuts Dawn, the wishful thought of smoking in this was nothing more than that, wishful thinking.
I'm having a hard enough time keeping things cleared off as it is.
Half hour later almost another inch on the ground!

Have a great smoke, and try to stay warm.

You are a hearty soul Dawn! I have pizzas on the agenda today but I think they will be done in the (GASP) oven....

It was close, but I managed to finish smoking before the weather got too bad.

Had to shovel a path every time I went out. So far we've gotten 7" of snow and it's not showing any signs of letting up.

looks like a good snow day smoke.. how much snow do you easterners got, we have about 8" and still coming down..my sister in Del has almost 20"

Curious to see how the Bandera does in adverse conditions...

She was a trooper. I still love it. Definitely worth the trials and tribulations I went through to get her. There was no problems keeping temps. Biggest challenge I had was getting to her. lol Between having to shovel every time I had to check the fire and the ice underneath the snow it was an interesting experience.
