Meat Loaf and ABT's with QVIEW

    Here are a couple of meatloafs, and my first attempt at ABT's. The loaf was great but the abts were a little hot, I didnt get all of the seeds out.
    The loaf was just your normal recipe. I stuffed the japs with a fatty and cream cheese with parmesian cheese, the flavour was real good just a little hot for the family. I am still in the works on my reverse flow. When I get a good start I will post pics.

    Very nice on the loafs I like the glaze. The jalapeno's were alittle hot were they. You never know about those things one is hot and then one is not hot. Next time maybe try cutting them in half and sometimes that take some heat out for us.

    Very nice looking ABT's! No worries on the heat, you'll get all the seeds and veins next time. A couple times after that you might very well be leaving them in 'cause you'll be addicted to the heat! [​IMG]

    Loafs and ABTs are lookin' great! Rather cleaver use of the cup-caketin to raise the loaves up...cool idea!

    Great looking smoke. Just did my first meatloaf on the smoker tonight.

    Thanks everybody. The cake pan was jeff's idea. The loafs were real good the glaze was just bbq sauce. The abt's were just a little to hot for me, I also did a couple with sweet peppers instead of japs and the wife really liked those.

    Hey Bryon, try what I do with the japs. As I core them out I rinse them out in the sink, that way I can see if there are any seeds left inside. I haven't had a hot one yet doing them that way.
