Dates? Momma used to do a date loaf candy during the holidays, only thing I ever saw done with dates. Sounds interesting though...... Thanks Gary.

Thanks Kevin. Yeah my mom used to make date filled cookies and a date square with an oatmeal crumble topping--that was about it for dates when I was growing up too.

Messy????? Not me!! LOL. According to Miss Linda well maybe just a little. I know its hard to believe but she says she can ALWAYS tell when I've been cooking--every dish, pot, and pan in the house needs to be put through the dishwasher. Hmmm..........
