After a heart attack Doc told me to try skinning chicken and coating it with mayo before grilling. It worked! It worked really well. One of the few things he said I actually tried and son-of-a-gun if he wasn't right.......LOL

Anyone ever try it smoking vice grilling using a mayo coating?? We use mustard as a binder.

I have used mayo a few times it kind of melts away, usually use helman's. I had left the skin on though.

I like to spread a thin coat on corn on the cob sprinkle with salt, pepper and a bit of cayenne and grated parm cheese, wrap in foil and grill turning a few times so it doesn't burn.
  4. I just smoked 2 chickens and used Kraft mayo with the peppercorns in it. Nobody really liked it on sandwiches so I figured I'd try it to help get rid of it. It just melted away and couldn't tell it was there but it spread good and the rub stuck very well.
