got a party tomorrow so i smoke two 9 lb butts. started the smoker at 8:30am. took a shower and had breakfast and threw the butts on at 10 am at 260*. i came back to wrap them at 3:15 pm. then i got home at 4:30 and put the therms in the butts both were close together at 175* ish. so i ran back to my office for a few and came home about 6:15 and the one but was done at 205* and the second was at 203* so i left them till the second one hit 204* and pulled them at about 6:30. they are still wrapped and resting now. i have had butts mess with me and take way longer then expected, never had i had some hurry up like these. i hope they turned out well, they smell fantastic!
