Good morning does amyone have or used the masterbuilt analog model electric smoker and how does it compare to the higher priced models Thanks
The higher heat on the analogue smoker could be due to the fact that it is rated at rated 12.5A and it has a 1500 Watt heating element.The analogue smoker will get hotter, close to 400 degrees. But it does not have insulation so it will lose heat faster. You have to open the door to load wood chips. It is not as pretty as the digital unit, but it does the same job in my opinion.
I think the wattage really only deals with how fast it heats up. I think the thermostat location and the cycle temp is what would determine max temp... The Griddoc needs help. I cant get the wood chips to smoke. I have tried everything. From soak to not soak. Hi temp to low temp. I need help
