I've got a vertical 2-door Master Forge propane smoker that I've had for years. I've seen a lot of threads about not being able to get the temp high enough, but I'm having the exact opposite problem right now. I've got my smoker on low (the propane is coming in at a whisper to make the flame as low as it can go) and I can't get the temp to regulate at 150-160 for smoked salmon filets. Right now, the lowest I can get it is 220. The dampers at the bottom are open and the chimney is open at the top. Any suggestions?
