I've searched around, and find that the amnps doesn't do well with propane smokers, but mostly all the posts pertaining to smaller units.
The question.
Anybody using these two together during hot smoking with success?
Maybe, the 40" version has enough space it won't run out of o2? And stay lit.
I'd like a amnps for cold smoking, it'd be great if I could use it for both.
Thanks.

You might ask Todd what his advice is, but I suggest one of his tube smokers for your gasser.  The only time I tried to use my AMNPS in my GOSM gasser, it didn't perform very well.

I've asked Todd, awaiting his response.
Was just hoping for user experience. Im not about to hook a mail box to my smoker. Lol.
I'd be thrilled with something that'd give me 5 or 6 hours of continuous hot or cold smoke.

Please post his answer if you get a response. I've got a MB XL and have the same question.

What I've gathered is that the tube is the way to go, but is that suitable for cold smokes also? does  that generate too much heat?

I'd call and ask myself but never get free during "normal" hours. End up on here later in the evenings.

Sorry. His response was to go with the 12" tube. Witch is also good for cold smoking.
