Mak 2 Star - Product release cycles?

Hello all... I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this question has been asked or is simply answered. I'm in the market to buy a MAK 2-Star and wondering what the typical product release is out of MAK. I'm not sure if the 2-Star is due for a 2015 release or if the current is what I should expect for the foreseeable future.

I don't own a Mak, so can't say for sure...but it seems I remember reading on another board of some updates/improvements last year?  If so you'd be ok, but a lot of times manufacturers will make newer upgrades compatible and available for the older models.

MAK is always working on product improvement ideas, the good news is when they come out with one they engineer it to be backwards compatible.

The MAK customer support is second to none. I would recommend you call MAK and ask them about your product questions. I am going to purchase a MAK 2 star general when I get the funds together.
