I have been smoking for about 10 months. My first smoker is a smoke hollow 44". I like it but learning more every time I use it. I am thinking about building a reverse flow off set smoker that I can use Lp or charcoal. Is it possible? Thinking 2 different fire boxes. I want to be able to have that option. I am a heavy equipment mechanic In Indiana. Any idea would be appreciated , thanks Will

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a windy, warm and nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Yep, one of the members "Ribwizzard" built a combo RF smoker and gas grill combo, I've seen quite a few RF's with gas starters. Once you have an RF and it is built properly it doesn't burn that much wood, and easy to maintain temps.
