I do not own one but I looked at them at my local ACE before buying my Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone. I agree they look really well built but I had to do allot of deep google searches to get any info on them. My opinion from research was the build quality appears slightly better than average pellet grills but the controller and heat distribution for cooking is not as good as others for the money. So for me the lack of data on Louisiana Grill and price point it steered me toward looking at the Yoder's, Rec Tec & GMG's. I have never owned a pellet grill and the Yoder looked awesome but unsure if I was going to like the pellet experience it was too expensive. So I went with the least expensive option the GMG.  To be honest and I will probably catch flack for saying it but the GMG works but feels like a very cheaply made grill and I wonder how long it will last. I definitely suggest seeing whatever you buy in person before buying it that's the reason I didn't buy a Rec Tec. I did look at the GMG DB  and it looked cheap in the showroom but I only paid $599 for the wifi version so it was cheap. Hope this helps good luck!

i have a CS450 and quite enjoy it. mine originally was not digital so i upgraded the controller. it stays on the money quite well. the only other grill available where i am is the Traeger. this grill is still made in Canada. Pellet heads has a section on the Danson (manufacturer)  grills if you want to read more and ask more questions there.

GOOD LUCK

I have the 900" Louisiana and love it, cooking at least 3 times per week on it. The first one I got kept tripping breakers, the replacement has been fine. The onboard thermometer is iffy, but the Maverick makes up for that. When I'm not smoking and want to go HOT without pulling out the LP the Louisiana can do it when other pellet burners can't.

After posting this I spent some time hunting around the Internet. Didn't find much...other than a few folks saying they had temperature control troubles....
