Welcome to SMF Merci! Glad to have you with us!

Would you please update your profile info to include your location, then head over to roll call & introduce yourself, so we can all give you a proper SMF welcome. Thank-you.

As for the smoker there are a lot of Masterbuilt Electric Smoker owners on here. It's a very popular smoker. I have one & it's excellent for smoking sausage.

  7. What Al said!  I just got the Masterbuilt 30 and love it so far!  Then hit up Todd for an A-maze-N pellet smoker and you'll be all kinds of set up!

The Masterbuilt 30" is pretty simple to use and to set up. A great smoker to start with. I have seen them for sale lately for about $150-$200 at Cabelas.

  10. I am new to smokers as well but have a Masterbilt 40" smoker and it is pretty easy to use and clean as well. The racks and water pan are diswasher safe.

  11. Thanks for the info.

    Gerry.
