Hi all,

My Weber Smokey Mountain is not enough now, so I am on a hunt for a new smoker.

I have been looking at Stump's Smokers, also after seeing them in competitions on TV. They seem to be really good and well build, but I think it is difficult if I should go for variable burn pattern or the gravity feed. What are the differences exactly(besides one having(get more for my money a charcoal chute), hope someone out there can assist.

I have also been looking at Jambo Pits, but when I am moving back to Denmark the choice and quantity of wood will be limited, and therefore a pure charcoal smoker will be the best option.

Hi fdannyw,

I have a WSM 18.5, but looking at have a different smoker as well, because it is a bit easier to moving things around in vertical smokers like a gravity feed or an offset smoker.

Thanks fdannyw, I have not been looking that much on those, it is worth doing at least :)
