Me and my old man put on a pig roast every year. I have used the same injection for 5 years cause it is so good. BUT this year I want to come up with something different and hopefully as good. Any ideas you all have would be great thanks for your help.
 
If what ya got has worked for 5 years I wouldn't change it...maybe modify it but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
 
What injection have you been using if I may ask ?I know some don't like to devulge their secrects. Like dan says don't fix whats not broke but they asked you too. Thats a challenge I don't think I could pass up.
 
I do believe that the person who asked me to change how I prepare the meal would be eating hotdogs off of the grill while the others would be feasting on the piggy.
 
I wouldn't take offense at the request, but I also wouldn't change the injection. Instead, if I were you, I'd use the finishing sauce on the pork page for the butts as the added/requested twist. It's fantastic.

By experimenting with the sauce you can achieve subtle differences with out compromising your original quality product.
 
I would ask more than one person that will be attending what they think and then go with the majority vote. Maybe not all would like it changed.
