Hey folks. My name is Quintin, and I'm from Georgia.

I've always liked grilling stuff, and sometime last year picked up a cheap Brinkmann like smoker from Lowes. Had some decent results with it, but got tired of constantly fiddling with it so I bit the bullet and picked up an 18-1/2" Weber Smokey Mountain, which I've fallen dangerously in love with. I keep finding excuses and reasons to cook something, anything, some things turned out better than others but it's all been pretty good as of late.

Looking forward to reading and learning more as time passes.

Hello Quintin, welcome to SMF,  I've been doing this for 40 years and still look for reasons to fire up the smoker. The more you smoke, things get easier and you will figure out the flavors you and your family like. Glad you joined up.
