Hey all. Long time member if this forum, but 1st post. Love this forum. Lots of great info.

I am from Kansas City, MO - home if the best BBQ and my KC Royals. I am an avid griller (a Weber Charcoal guy), but relatively new to smoking. Got my first offset smoker for father's day last summer. I have done several minor mods to my smoker to improve heat consistency, which has worked well for a inexpensive first Char-Broil offset.

I have smoked ribs, chickens, Thanksgiving Turkey, and a couple brisket. I always read the recommendations on this site before firing up the smoker.

Bless all, and thank you to all our military vets on this Memorial Day weekend

Always remember to have fun because it's not fun if you have to work at it.
    Thanks for joining,
