OKC Metro
Hey all.

Long time lurker and have recently got the smoking bug (again).

I'm in the OKC Metro Area and have lived here most of my life.

I'm no stranger to a grill or Smoker, The former being my forte, but the smoker being a tool that I've used to a lesser degree. I spent the better part of my teens and 20s behind a grill at various eateries. Everything from searing meat at high dollar places to slinging grease at choke and pukes. I've done it.

A number of months ago, the dog ate my Gas grill, and I went back to the Weber OTS kettle that I've had sitting out on the patio for 10 years and fell back in love with it. Started using Lump or wood and have done some good things with it recently. Needs a little bit of love, new wheel mostly and a new grate, but otherwise it's intact.

Looking at getting a smoker and had my heart set on Horizontal offset. I decided against it due to the bang for buck factor. I don't want to have to Mod something out of the box to get it to work. Simplicity is where I'm at and the WSM fits the bill. Biggest decision now is what size.

So there you have it...

Thanks all.

So MS Smoker,

With family of 5 with growing kids, seems like it would be the way to go. Now I just need to be sure I get a deal on one.
