locked threads

I wished Admins would not lock threads arbitrarily. Usually this authority is given for situations when the topic is hijacked or posters start getting personal.

A "curing without nitrites" thread was locked recently only for the Admin to post a reply days later while keeping the thread locked.

What's next: lock threads with brisket-fat-side-down if the Admin is in the fat-side-up camp?
 
We lock threads for many reasons and if you have a problem with one of us locking a thread feel free to PM us since I locked that one you can PM me with any questions or comments
