So it's on my front porch at the moment with all the rain we've had, but it gets hit with afternoon sun pretty hard.  During July/August, it can be brutal.  I've got the crappy stock cover on it ATM, but do you think there is any risk to the plastic surrounding the smoker (fading, cracking etc).  Im talking 95F+ heat some days.  Thanks.

I would recommend covering it.  If you plan to smoke there I would find a way to block the sun.  I moved from up north to Texas and have learned the hard way that the sun can really change how your smoker preforms.

Smoke ON!

I have a deck on the West side of my house with all my smokers and grills so it gets midday and afternoon heat.  I picked up an umbrella for shade which works well as an awning in front of my sliding door.

I put up an ez-up over my stick burner.

Keeps the Ez-up smelling good!

Smoke ON!

I guess I will just move it back to my garage then to be safe.....  Still trying to figure out a storage plan.  Its driving me insane.

I have the little MES 30 Gen 1 and I keep it covered with the MB cover and stored inside my garage when not in use.
