I know that it was my idea to serve pulled pork as the main dish at my grandsons B-Day party, then I found out the party is at 3 pm tomorrow. So here I sit, I have rubbed my butts and put them on the smoker. I will be using a simple rub, smoking using hickory and using pineapple/apple juice as my mop. everything is going smooth.

My question is this "is 1:30 am a late night or an early morning?"

Q-view to follow, maybe? I aint waking the lovely lady of the house to ask her where the camera is.

That depends alot on point of view, optimistic, or pessimistic. If it was time spent smoking, its a late..err GREAT night

Not really sure of the question.

Take it to 160' and put in the oven foiled with pan drippings at 200' and go to bed. Tommorow it will ready to pull.

ron,
that worked fine for the brisket i did a couple weeks ago. ike had rain pouring on il and couldnt keep smoker very warm. after 10 hrs on the coals the wood and chracoal had done there job. i stuck it in the oven at 235 for 5 hrs foiled. it went off at the timer. when i arose from bed it fell apart if ya blew on it. and tasted wonderful.

lol for me 1:35 am is late evening.
i keep odd hours (i don't think they're odd - everyone else does)
you know i'm surprised you guys don't take a page from the overnight carp anglers book.

get yourselves a bivvy and a camp bed, amplify the oven temp smoker alarms and just sack out by the smoker :-)
that way you only get woken up if it needs tending :-)

It is 5:23 EST Justed finished mopping my butts, they are at 155*F and the fat is just starting to release. The backyard has a wonderful smell of hickory, rub and cooking pork. It is the start of another wonderful day that I have been blessed with.

Depends if you're just gettin home, or just gettin up. If you're just gettin home it's a late night. Just gettin up, it's early morning and time to go back to bed.
