Hello Group,

I decided to put this in "Roll Call" since it has been a while since my first post.

I've been playing around and enjoying my Little Chief for about 1-1/2 years. I recently picked up a Grillpro propane smoker at an auction. It was used once and I got it for $30. I am going to attempt some pulled pork tomorrow as my first try.

I have a couple of questions:

How many bags of wood chips should I plan on getting? At this point I will have to get bags from Home Depot.

Is there anything I need to be mindful of with this smoker?

Thanks,

Todd

I would recommend getting the chunks (2"-3") pieces. Put 2-3 of those in your smoke pan or whatever your smoker has for that. You'll get a longer smoke than the chips.
